Every PDF issued by DirectDemocracyS carries a digital seal: any change after the seal is shown by PDF readers. Here you find who signs, the fingerprints to compare and the public files of the certificates.

To have the seal shown as verified in your PDF reader, install the root certificate only after checking that its SHA-256 fingerprint is the same as above (and as published by DirectDemocracyS on its other official channels).
How to check a document
- Open the PDF: the signature panel must say that the document has not been changed after the seal.
- Upload it to the document check: the fingerprint of the file must be in the sealed registry of DirectDemocracyS.
- Compare the fingerprint of the signer's certificate with the one on this page.
Standards: PAdES baseline (ETSI EN 319 142-1), CAdES (ETSI EN 319 122-1), RFC 3161 time-stamps, X.509 certificates and revocation lists (RFC 5280, ETSI EN 319 412), remote signing with Cloud Signature Consortium API v2.
